The ruby represents the blood of
Jesus Christ
when He died on
the cross.

It is through the blood
of Jesus that we are
Justified
so that we can enter
Heaven and come before God.

It is the first stone
because it is the first
step to enter Heaven.
Jesus died on the cross
and took away our sins
so that we can be Justified
before God. It is the only
way that we can become
children of God.

God is a holy God.
He is so holy that
He cannot look on or
tolerate the tiniest bit
of sin or rebellion against
Him or His Law.

God is also JUST.
God is the perfect judge.
He judges mankind in truth,
honesty and total fairness.
The Bible says some exciting
news about God, the judge
and His justice.
Psalm 96:13 says:
" For the Lord is coming
to judge the earth;
He will judge the
nations fairly
and with truth!"
(TLB)

God is committed to judge and
punish every sin that man
has ever committed. God's
holy displeasure of man's sin
is known as His wrath.

In the scripture Romans 1:18
Paul writes:
"God shows His anger
from heaven against
all sinful, evil men
who push away the truth
from them." (TLB)

God cared and loved us so much
that inspite of His justice and
holiness He sent His son,
Jesus Christ
to take our place and to endure
the punishment for our sins.

Paul wrote to the Galatians in Chapter 3
24 "Let me put it another way. The Jewish laws were our teacher and guide to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith."

"Because the Lord Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, we can enter boldly into the throne room. Our boldness to enter comes only because of Christ's sacrifice, nothing else. If we are still in our sin, no amount of brazen courage can open heaven's gates. The password is" "I come by the blood of Jesus." The moment you speak those words, entrance is yours."
