The Seventh Beatitude

 Blessed are the Peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God. 


    Peacemakers are children of God who have a great love for God, and for all of mankind.
    Peacemakers try everything they possibly can to have peace everywhere.

    "So then let us pursue the things which make for peace
    and the building up of one another    ".
    Romans 14:19

    Peacemakers realize that there is only one way that our world can have peace, and that is by trusting in Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross He brought peace between God and man, and He also brought peace between man and man. Jesus' death opened a way for us to have access to God, so that we can now come into the very presence of God and have peace with our Father. When we are at peace with God, we will be at peace with all men.

    The reason we can love other people and have peace with them, even our enemies,
    is because Christ destroyed the hostility between man and man
    when He died on the cross.

    "It was through what His Son did that God cleared a path for everything to come to Him -
    -all things on heaven and on earth -
    - for Christ's death on the cross has made peace with God for all by His blood.    "
